LaGuardia, the closest Airport to NY city central loacated also in Queens (on the Grand Central Parkway), mainly handles domestic flights.

Newark International Airport (EWR)

Newark, in Newark, New Jersey, handles both domestic and international flights. It’s a bit further from the city than the other two airports, but it is generally less crowded and has more modern facilities. Serves as the main Hub for Continental Airlines

*Tip – check your connection flight try to avoid traveling between airports while connecting flights it takes a lot of time especially in rush hour.

From JFK to Manhattan – price about 45$ takes 35 – 50 minnuets (longer in rush hour)

*Tip – Car rental in New-York is not recommended if you are heading to Manhattan due to traffic jams and very expensive parking lots

From Newark to Manhattan – price about 50$ takes 40 – 60 minnuets(longer in rush hour)

From LaGuardia to Manhattan – price about 35$ takes 20 – 30 minnuets(longer in rush hour)
