If you flying in, you are most likely to land at Charles De Gaulle airport, the home of Air France. Its a huge Airport, with 5 terminals, and inside shuttle.

Travel time from Charles de Gaulle to the Paris city center – about 40 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Train ride will take 45 minutes – more or less.

Cost of a taxi from the airport to the city center or back – between 50 and 60 euros.

Train a city or the other way around – nine and a half euros. The cost include combination of train and subway network, which allows to quickly and easily get to almost any point in the city, and just a few hundred meters at most, from your hotel.

Thanks to the Metro system, it is not terribly important to insist on  your hotel location. You can get anywhere in the city within a very reasonable period of time.
