When travelling from the EU countries to the UK, you do not have to pay any tax or duty on goods you have bought in another EU country, as long as tax was included in the price when you purchased the items, the items are for your own personal  use, and have been transported to the UK by you.

Still, there are limitation on alcohol and tobacco products:

200 cigars
3 kg of smoking tobacco
110 litres of beer
10 litres of spirits
90 litres of wine
20 litres of fortified wine e.g. port or sherry

From Estonia – 200 cigarettes or 250g of smoking tobacco
From Bulgaria, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia – 200 cigarettes

Here are some tips on surviving the flight – food wise:

1. Eat many small meals: it is better to eat small meals or even snacks, like pretzels or peanuts, that common in most airlines services. The constant eating will avoid empty stomach and nausea feeling. This is also why we shoild have a light meal before the flight.

2.  To avoid nausea , don’t drink during the meal - wait at least 1 hour before or after you eat.

3. Anothers nauseas drugs: dry toast, cracker, and sour candy

4. Cold drink is better then hot drink.

5. Don’t drink alot of coffee or tea. They both diuretic.

 6. Avoid alcohol. and if you must – don’t drink it on an empty stomach, but with your meal.

Here are a list of tip on the right eating for enjoyable flight:

Eat carbohydrate before the flight

a slice of bread, or a light sandwich, before you are boarding, will help us feel more relax during the flight.

Avoid alcoholic beverages

Consumption alcohol before or during the flight, can couse heartburn and general discomfort. In addirion, the alcohol can couse to droping of blood sugar level – until fainting. If you like to drink anyway – do it with your meal.

Eat lightly before the flight

eat lightly and avoid eating food that is hard to digest before the flght, like fried food, fats and even vegtables like onion, legumes and cabbage.

Diet against jet lag

This diet was successfully tested on soldiers, to relieve jet lag of armies moving frequently to different places around the world. its a 3 days diet. The first day include a lot of protein and carbohydrate-rich dinner.
