Manchester Airport is located about 20 minutes away from downtown. The field is not large, but a large number of airlines come out to destinations throughout the UK, Europe, America, the Far East and Asia.

The location of Manchester Airport makes an excellent starting point for those who wish to visit the north of England. The distance to Liverpool for example is about 45 minutes. And by train to London takes about 3 hours.

Duty Free at the airport of Manchester

Relative to the size of manchester airport, its duty free is surprising good.

LaGuardia, the closest Airport to NY city central loacated also in Queens (on the Grand Central Parkway), mainly handles domestic flights.

Newark International Airport (EWR)

Newark, in Newark, New Jersey, handles both domestic and international flights. It’s a bit further from the city than the other two airports, but it is generally less crowded and has more modern facilities. Serves as the main Hub for Continental Airlines
